When conducting our Pennsylvania Wine Tasting, you will experience locally grown and
produced wines that are crafted for our local friends and neighbors, but which leave
aficionados both surprised and delighted. That's our creativity. That's our expansive wine

A classic European varietal tastes of ripe blueberries and tannins. Barrel fermented and aged in American Oak, this complex red goes well with beef and heavy brown or red sauces.
Bursting with fresh tart cherry and blueberry aroma, supported by soft tannins from oak, this classic will pair well with rich beef and lamb dishes.
This is the Winery at Hunters Valley's version of a naked Chardonnay. Fermented in stainless steel, this Chardonnay does not have a trace of oak. This tart and fruity offering with a light aftertaste is the antidote for the high alcohol, over-oaked California Chardonnays.
Made in a non-traditional style, this wine is less acidic and fruitier than typical Italian style Pinot Grigio.This wine is soft on the palate with light fruit and a floral nose. A great accompaniment to pasta with white and cream sauces. best served chilled.
Heart of the Valley
This is a 'Chianti' style red with a touch of residual sugar and no oak. This medium light body red is a blend of Chambourcin and Chancellor grapes. Goes great with pasta and red sauces as well as pork or beef. Best served room temperature.
The Winery at Hunters Valley answer to those who seek the White Zinfandel. This is a blend of white and red hybrid grapes that is finished off slightly sweet and has a delicate salmon color. a higher quality alternative to the formulaic and mass produced White Zins.
A semi dry red wine that is great on it's own or heated with sugar and spices as a mulled wine. Great for cold fall or winter nights by the fire.
Hunters Valley Red
This is a sweet and fruity red made from 100% Concord grapes. Considered semi-sweet, this wine is like grape juice with a kick. Best served chilled.
A sweet, tart and fruity white wine made from the Catawba grape. Can be drunk at dinner or with cheese and crackers. This wine was served at the weddings of Mike and Carol's daughter and niece. Best served chilled.
Susquehanna River Red
The Winery at Hunters Valley's most popular wine, Susquehanna River Red is a sweet and spicy blend of Concord and Niagara grapes that is the ultimate party wine. Best served chilled.
Made fro Niagara grapes, this is a sweet and fruity offering. If you close your eyes, you would swear you were biting into a grape. Not pretentious, just packed with grape flavor. Best served chilled.
A sweet white late harvest Riesling blend with notes of tropical fruit and a rich honey finish. In honor of the faithful and dedicated service of our country’s men and women in uniform, the Winery at Hunters Valley will be releasing their new designer wine, titled “Freedom”. With the sale of each bottle, $2.00 will be donated to the L.E.E.K. Hunting and Mountain Preserve. The organization is a completely volunteer-run facility dedicated to offering therapeutic outdoor programs for wounded veterans with all levels of disabilities with the mission of providing a friendly handicap-accessible camp environment and therapeutic outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. LEEK believes in encouraging our wounded heroes to focus on their abilities, without compromising their current physical limitations by providing a safe and friendly environment where wounded U.S. service members can assist each other through the healing process, both mentally and physically. LEEK Preserve, founded by the Fisher Family, purchased land in scenic Potter County, Pa. specifically to establish LEEK, a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization, which offers guided hunts, fishing outings and outdoor experiences for wounded veterans. This is a cause near and dear to The Winery at Hunters Valley as the Williams family has 3 generations of their family having served in the United States Armed Forces. Owner Carol Williams’ father, Harold Freitag, served in the Army, owner Mike Williams served in the Army, and their Grandson Gregg Dauber served in the Air Force. Owner Jamie Williams’ wife Kristen also works with wounded veterans every day as a Nurse Practitioner at the VA Hospital in Dubois. Made in the same cordial style as our Schwartzbeeren, this 100% red raspberry wine is perfect for after dinner. Try serving as a drizzle over ice cream, cheesecake or fresh fruit
Buck's Backwoods Brew
A rich and bold Port style Chambourcin with hints of ripe blackberries on the palate. Along side the sweet blackberries are soft tannins and black licorice hints which are characteristic of the Chambourcin grape. Makes an ideal after dinner drink.
Liverpool Ruby Red
Made in a very non-traditional way, this 100% Chambourcin port comes to you fermented (not fortified!) to 20% alcohol. You will find the alcohols produced by fermentation to be much smoother and better integrated than those of brandy and spirits used to fortify traditional ports. This wine has deep red/blue colors that foretell of a lingering hint of rich ripe berries, tobacco and black licorice.
This Germanic style Riesling has hints of citrus and nectar on the nose, giving way to tastes of melon and honey. Pairs well with fresh fruit and cheese plates. Best served chilled at 45 degrees
